John F. Myers to James Durbin and Chester Eldridge
15 Feb 1819Be it Known that this day before me, James McKee, notary public in and for the said parish, duly commissioned, personally appeared John F. Myers, who declared that for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do by these presents grant, bargain and sell unto Chester Eldridge & James Durbin, their heirs and assigns, the said Parties being allso [sic] present and accepting, the schooner Batchelor of Springfield, also, all and Every part of Riggin and backing utentials? now on board, as there unto belonging, to have and to hold, the said above named schooner unto the said Chester Eldridge and James Durbin, their heirs and assigns, to their proper use and behoof, for Ever, and the said John F. Myers for himself, against all and Every person and persons, whomsoever, to the sad Chester Eldridge and James Durbin, their heirs and assigns, shall and will warrant, and for Ever defend these presents, done and passed at St. Helena in presence of Jacob Smith and Lewis Wolf, witnesses who have hereunto signed their names, together with the parties and me, the said notary, this fifteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and nineteen.
