Transcribed as written.] Ichabod Bowerman was the ofspring of English parentage descended from one three brothers by the name of Bowerman who emigrated to America in the early settlement of the cuntry, and settled in one of the eastern staits, Ichabod Bowerman was born and brought up in Massachusetts where he married Lydia Mot they had the six follwin children namely, Timothy, Elizabeth, David, Jane, Hannah, & Sarah; the ??rd of their ages is not know, Lydia died and he married Jane Richmond by whome he had twelve children, they moved to the stait of New York where he Page 2: Children of Ichabod and Jane Bowerman
Page 3: Job Hughes was born in Exeter Pennsylvania in the year 1741 Eleanor lee was born in Oley Pennsylvania the 3rd mo 1751 They were united in marriage in 1775 Job Hughes died on the 26th of 4th month 1807 Eleanor Hughes died on the 9th of 3rd month 1825

According to “Freeman’s History of Cape Cod vol II” Thomas Bowerman the ancestor was in Plymouth in 1632 – in Bedford 1643. His will is dated in 1663 May 9th. Mr Savage says he died May 25th 1679. He married Hannah Annable daughter of Anthony Annable March 16th 1644 Children born – Hannah 1646, Thomas 1648 – Samuel 1651 (He was slain the battle of Rehoboth) – Desire 1654 – Mary 1656 – Mehetable 1658 Trestrain 1661. Thomas Bowerman 2nd married Mary Harper April 9th 1678 – Children Samuel – Thomas – Stephen – Benjamin – Hannah [new line and no dash] Waite – Thomas Bowerman 3rd married Jane – Children – Ichabod – Judah – David – Silas – Joseph – Sarah – Eliza – Peale - & Deborah. Ichabod Bowerman married in 1759 to Jane Richmond – Children – Thomas – Lydia – Phebe – Mary – Ichabod – Jonathan – Deborah – Stephen – Gideon – Israel – Judah – Nancy – Stephen Bowerman married Amy Hughes. [Note – all above pages appear to be entered in the same ink and hand and at the same time suggesting they were made on or after 1868 which is the latest date.
