INVITATION
These pages of pioneers focus on primary sources and the most current research problem.
The desire is to present active research and to minimize the use of what is already widely known.

Research on pioneers usually involves pre 1783 colonial american sources and early Upper and Lower Canada sources till about 1830 or so.
It is a challenge.

Some of the web pages below have been made by me for others who wish their research and family puzzles to be presented here.
Google will index the web page and who knows who may come forward with new information. It happens more often than you'd expect.

Contact me if you wish to explore this idea.
No cost to you and each family that is added strengthens the whole.

The growing list below includes some of my ancestors and those of others and we have included source notes for these early settlers on their pages.
These pioneers all came to Upper Canada from the US, c1800, mostly from NY and a few from NJ, VT, MA and CT.
In most cases I have information on their US ancestry.
