From the book, "Maintaining the Right Fellowship", by Dr. John L. Ruth, Herald Press, Scottdale PA, 1984. I learned that there was a genealogy that was prepared over 200 years ago which linked many Dutch families with their relatives who had settled in the area of Skippack, Montgomery Co., Pennsylvania. My 6th great grandmother, Magdalena van Sintern, had a major role in compiling this document. In 1876, Samuel W. Pennypacker had this genealogy translated into english. The following is in his own words, in his own hand:

The original of his work is now in the library of the museum, with copies in The Meeting House, Mennonite Historians of Eastern PA, 565 Yoder Road, Box 82, Harleysville, PA 19438, (215) 256-3020.and the LDS library, in Salt Lake City, UT, under the title of "A Genealogy of the Family of De Voss". These copies each have a companion index which I provided after I entered all of Sam's information into Personal Ancestral File (LDS genealogy program). There were 1016 numbered individuals, and another 422 in-laws, etc. that were not numbered, but now are.
From the PAF program, I was able to create a Gedcom file which I then transferred to the GedHTree program which automatically translated the entire genealogy into HTML for uploading to the web. Fom the Pennypacker Mills Museum, I obtained permission to post the genealogy with the following notice:
