Central monument for Dennis McLean with marble cross broken off (as in the record I once sent you). I could read the death date easily enough:

Dennis McLean, died June 7, 1872, age 39 years (there was more fine script much too weathered to read).

On either side were the newer headstones that only read: Mother 1834-1914; Father 1833-1872. (My guess is that these were both placed at the time of Mary Garvey McLean’s death or later . . .

1875 WI census (still Winnebago Co., Neenah) has Mrs.
Mary McLean as head of family with 4 males & 4 females.
I presume: Mary + all children resided there in 1875.
Between 1875 & 1880 (Fed. Census), Delia, Mary Ann, & James moved out.
1885 WI census has no trace of McLean that I could find.
