RUSK/RUSH, David Sr.; (see chart of Patricia Cooley) A will of David RUSH (my handwritten k often looks like an h but this looks deliberately an h) dated 25 July 1835, and probated (?) 9 May 1836 Montgomery Co., IN. indicates wife deceased, lists a son John, daus. Julianna, Sarah and Mary COOLEY, deceased. Samuel M. COOLEY and John RUSH are listed as executors. A will of John A. mentions Samuel COOLEY, grandson of David Rush and son of Mary COOLEY, deceased dau of David. 12 Oct. 1847, a Jonathan RUSK applied to Jasper Co. MO., court regarding probate of estate of Samuel Means COOLEY.
