My third great-grandparents Hannah KINGERY 1801 Virginia to Greene County, Ohio to Miami County to 1858 Wabash County, Indiana and Jacob FALLIS before 1800. Jacob is most likely buried in 1824 in the FALLIS Pioneer Cemetery in Greene County, Ohio on the family farm with his age 27 not 17 as the tombstone states. Hannah remarried to Ginnethon KELLEY and are buried in Mississinewa Memorial Cemetery with her Follis grandchildren and daughter-in-law Catherine EIKENBERRY.

Fifth great-grandparents were Jacob KINGERY about 1751 Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to Franklin and 1811 Union County, Indiana and Franky unknown about 1755. Merle Rummel says he is buried in the Keffer Cemetery on the northeast corner or across the road from his pioneer farm - I believe his land is southwest corner. George Keefer was the asignee of Henry Brandenburg when he bought the land where the cemetery is located April 27, 1818 from 5th President James Monroe and Wikipedia. March 10, 1812 Jacob KINGERY Sr. of Butler County, Ohio bought BLM CV-0013-228 land Union County, Indiana 1st PM 011N 001W NE¼ 34 Union signed by 4th United States President James Madison and some Wikipedia information. Sons Martin, Jacob, Michael, Samuel and Joseph bought 100's of acres of land in Union County, Indiana and Preble County, Ohio in the 1810-1835 time period.

Jacob's father was likely Peter KINGERY about 1733-1786 of Lebanon Township, Lancaster (now Lebanon) County, Pennsylvania.

There are several versions of who his wife was and who his parents were. I am still trying to straighten things out. Merle RUMMEL points out in his Virginia Four Mile Colony that Jacob is mentioned in his father Peter's 1786 will. There are several Jacob KINGERY's and ours did not have a son Peter, so I need to find this will for further verification.

It is possible Jacob's parents were Jost KINGERY of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania from the 1776 will of Yost GINGERIC, deed highlights of his son Christian's 1796 deed, and son Michael's 1785 deed. Our Jacob had son's Christian and Michael, but no Jost.

GINGERICH is thought to be the family name in Switzerland. There are many GINGERICH and KINGERY families in Pennsylvania. Some are Mennonite, mine were Brethren.

An unresolved KINGERY riddle is who is Mary E. daughter of John and Eliza J. KINGERY buried in the FALLIS Pioneer Cemetery? Everyone in this family burial ground is related. John KINGERY apparently was born in Maryland a son of a Christian KINGERY born in Hesse D Germany. Strange, but this Mary KINGERY died in 1850 is also listed as buried in the fifth row in the Alley Chapel Cemetery. I visited the Alley Chapel cemetery in 2005, but could not find her tombstone.

Colby KINGERY is working on making those KINGERY connections. His posting indicates he has the family tree figured out back to Johannes Heinrich KINGERY 1690-1766 of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

I never met Cheska Wheatley, but I found her KINGERY and WEBB family web pages years ago that were a big help with these families. I subscribed to the Quaker Roots List for a number of years where she was the moderator. I never felt I had time to email her and now it is too late. She passed away November 30, 2003.
