My fifth great-grandparents Jacob CRAMER born 1806-1807 to after 1880 and Mary M. about 1809-before 1880 both unknown counties in Pennsylvania to Summit County, Ohio to Whitley County, Indiana.

My families listed in the members of Little Swatara Congregation of 1770 German Baptist Brethren include Peter HECKMAN, minister and wife, his son John HECKMAN and wife who was Barbara MEYER HECKMAN, Jacob MOYER and wife - Barbara MEYER's parents, Philip ZEIGLER and wife the original ZIEGLER immigrant family and whose farm was passed down through the ZIEGLER family until 1972. Dwayne Wrightsman gave an interesting discussion of the Early Brethren Farms on Little Swatara Creek on the Brethren Mailing List. I have some more on the Ziegler Meeting House.
Major city is Reading, go to Wikipedia 125 of 310 known Berks County cemeteries are known as not having survace evidence. In other words, their tombstone if they existed are missing.

Jacob's grandson Joseph ZIEGLER was born near Carlisle, Berks County, Pennsylvania about 20 miles north of Gettysburg famous from the Civil War and another 10 miles south to Taneytown in Carroll County, Maryland where my ZUMBRUN faimiles lived.
Jacob's parents Philip ZIEGLER 1734-1803, wife Regina REQUEL 1730-1824 Bern, Switzerland to Berks County, Pennsylvania.
My sixth great-grandfather Heinrich ZUMBRUN born about 1718 in Switzerland died in Berks County, Pennsylvania.

My seventh great-grandparents Johan Heinrich Landis 1782-1826 Hirzel, Switzerland to Chester County, Pennsylvania and Elizabeth HIRT perhaps 1688-1783 Alsace to Germantown, (Pike or Columbia County) Pennsylvania. Elizabeth was a daughter of Jacob HIRT 1662-1727 Germany to Germantown, (Pike or Columbia County) Pennsylvania.
Cumberland County
The Borough of Carlisle is the county seat.
My fourth great-grandparents Peter SWANK 1763-1837 Cumberland County, Pennsylvania to Montgomery County, Ohio and Hannah 1771-after 1850 Pennsylvania to Montgomery County, Ohio. There are lots of SCHWENK's and SWANK's in Pennsylvania but have been unable to find a connection with Peter. Peter's land east of Wolf Creek Road in Montgomery County, Ohio is now part of Sycamore State Park.
My third great-grandparents Joseph ZEIGLER 1813-1894 Cumberland County, Pennsylvania to Montgomery County, Ohio to Whitley County, Indiana and Saba KINSEY 1815-1888 Montgomery County, Ohio to Whitley County, Indiana. Joseph was a Church of the Brethren Deacon and minister who along with my KINSEY, ZUMBRUN, and other families from Montgomery County, Ohio formed the Blue River German Baptist now Church of the Brethren Church in Whitley County, Indiana.

Dauphin County
Formed in 1785 from Lancaster County, the county seat is Harrisburg also the capital of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Railroad passed through the city in 1846 and was the reason my KELKER families came to Fort Wayne. Three Mile Island is on the Susquehanna River near Harrisburg. 14 miles east of Harrisburg is Hershey home of the chocolate candy company.
My sixth great-grandparents Peter KINGERY abt 1733-1786 of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. There are several versions of who his wife was and who his parents were. I am still trying to straighten things out.

Germantown
Found in six different counties: Adams, Cambria, Columbia, Franklin, Pike, or Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Germantown is probably the best known.
My seventh great-grandparents Elizabeth HIRT perhaps 1688-1783 Alsace to Germantown, (Pike or Columbia County) Pennsylvania. Elizabeth was a daughter of Jacob HIRT 1662-1727 Germany to Germantown, (Pike or Columbia County) Pennsylvania and Johan Heinrich Landis 1782-1826 Hirzel, Switzerland to Chester County, Pennsylvania.
On page 128 of Holsinger's history, Henry Landis and his wife, of New Jersey, were among the first baptized December 25, 1713 by the Tunker Church in America in Wissahicon Creek near Germantown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On page 154 another Henry Landis and wife were 40 miles north in Coventry or Schulykill held a love feast September 7, 1724.
Huntingdon now Blair, County
Susannah Unknown ALBAUGH Sook died before February 21, 1806 and buried in the Brethren Cemetery near Cross Key, Blair County, Pennsylvania now known as Carson Valley Cemetery. 1816 Huntingdon County Whiteside map.
Lancaster County
Garden Spot of Amercia, the county seat of Lancaster County is Lancaster. Popular attractions are the Amish or "Pennsylvania Dutch".

My fourth great-grandparents Martin KINGERY 1774-1865 Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to Franklin County, Virginia to Greene County, Ohio to Union County, Indiana and Mary "Polly" WEBB 1780-1818 Franklin County, Virginia to Greene County, Ohio. Martin remarried to Mary HILDEBRAND.
Martin's parents Jacob KINGERY about 1751-1811 Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to Franklin and Union County, Indiana and Franky unknown about 1755.

My third great-grandparents George ROYER 1786-1876 almost 90 or 100 years old Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to Montgomery County, Ohio to Huntington County to Whitley County, Indiana and Sarah SWANK 1797 to 1855-1856 Pennsylvania to Montgomery County, Ohio to Huntington County, Indiana. George may have been born in 1776 and was just weeks short of 100 years old. His tombstone is a 20th century replacement and his obituaries give different ages and birth dates. Their land in Montgomery County, Ohio is now part of Sycamore State Park.
George's father is thought to be Christopher Daniel ROYER born after May 4, 1749 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Lehn Cemetery near the Lehn Meeting House is said to contain 5 generations of Royer remains.
On page 151, Daniel Royer was a deacon at Tulpehocken Congregation near where immigrant Sebastian Royer lived and died.
My fourth great-grandparents David ZIEGLER 1791-1866 Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to Clark County,
Ohio and Marie EHNINGER about 1791-1830 Pennsylvnania
8 children. Second wife Lydia FRANTZ 1805-1886 had 12 children. I can find no information on the EHNINGER-EHINGER family.

Northampton County
County seat is Easton. Located in the Lehigh Valley on the northern border of the The Poconos Mountain. Eastern edge borders Warren County, New Jersey. Industrial region produces anthracite coal, cement, was once home to Bethlehem Steel before its closing in 2003.

Schuylkill County
County seat is Pottsville part of the coal region of northeastern Pennsylvania in the Appalachian Mountains. Schuykill Canal opened in 1825.Short railroads began in the early 1830's.

My third great-grandparents George PROUGH 1781-1808 Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania to Fairfield County, Ohio and Sarah WINDER 1789-1860 Washington County, Maryland to Fairfield County, Ohio. Sarah remarried Nicholas SIDENER. Son Peter immigrated to Indiana with a couple of his SIDENER half-brothers.
York County
County seat is York, located in the Susquehanna Valley.
My fifth great-grandparents Julianna SCHNEER 1761-1844 York County, Pennsylvania to Stark County, Ohio and Simon ESSIG 1754-1852 Washington County, Maryland to Pennsylvania to Stark County, Ohio and was a Revolutionary War Soldier. Some of their children are said to have been born in Adams County which was not formed until January 22, 1800. Adams county seat is Gettysburg site of President Lincon's famous Gettysburg Address during the Civil War.
