Shamere's Family Page
Genealogy and the research of my family has become a part time passion of mine. I began my research about 1990 when my daughter gave me a 'family tree book' and said 'you always wanted to know where you came from, now find out'.
Over the years it has haunted me to find out as much as possible about the family and where they originally came from.
So this is my pet goal that will be under continuous revision and growth. Most of this material I have researched and verified myself, along with the many 'cousins' that have helped me with information for which I am eternally grateful.
If you find any mistakes or discrepancies, or wish to add new data, please let me know. If you have any questions or find we have a common ancestor, please send me an e-mail.
The roots of our families take us down some fascinating, long and twisting roads, and can provide us with a great satisfaction when that tiny clue blossoms into a wonderful flower.
But there are times when research can be very frustrating and we need the help of others to break down those 'brick walls'. The purpose of this site is to share the information that I and other members of the family have collected, and perhaps some where along the line you maybe able to help us break through our 'brick walls'.
However, the information contained in these pages should be used solely for the purpose of furthering your own research and not for any commercial publication, as it includes only our family legend and hearsay information passed through the generations.
If you could see your ancestors all standing in a row
Would you be proud of them or not,
Or don't you really know?
Some strange discoveries are made in climbing family trees.
But some of them you know do not particularly please.
If you could see your ancestors all standing in row
There may be some of them perhaps,
You wouldn't care to know.
But there's another question which requires a different view
If you could see your ancestors,
would they be proud of you?
