Enid: Born at 54 Berkeley St. Hull. Had training on a farm about 1923 and then as a hairdresser, but never earned her living. Enthusiastic photographer, needle- woman, nature-lover, particularly butterflies and moths. Enjoyed painting in later years. Enjoyed rambling and travelling, particularly in the thirties, when she and Don went to Switzerland and Austria. They took Brian and me in1948 for our first overseas holiday. Enid worked with SSAFA for over 25 years as a voluntary helper and interviewer.
