Helena Amelia Rahr

Crippled with Osteoarthritis and in a wheel-chair for the last 27 yrs of life. Dad once told me that when he was sitting by her bed when she was dieing he saw a flame above her bed which gradually died down. I remember her as a very gentle and kind person, dressed in black with lace collars. Called Lena, by her husband, on the back of a photograph

She died of 'Cerebral Thrombosos, cardiac muscular degeneration and arthrosclerosis; and had Multiple arthritis with deformity'. D R Trenbath was in attendance. (of 17 Woodlands Drive, Harrogate)
