Scrogtounhead Farm, is the birthplace of Helen Hamilton. Helen was born here in 1726. She married James Crawford and they are the parents of my great great great great grandmother Grisal Crawford born 1751. Grisal Crawford married Daniel Gillies 4 September 1771 in Lesmahagow, Lanarkshire and lived at Airdriend Farm. (See Airdriend photos)
