While this is not one of our direct lines, we are always trying to add new leaves to our family tree, this work is to help my Uncle Jimmy Carr dig up a few more ancestors to add to his collection. He is not online at this time, but I will act as the go between and foward any questions or information to him and send back his replies.

William Franklin Carr was born in March of 1858 in Georgia, his parents are unknown to this researcher at this time. From census records we have learned that he married Georgia S. (b. abt 1852 in GA) about 1877 and that they had the following children:
  1. James C. Carr, born November 1878, GA. married Amanda
  2. Alice Carr, born November 1881, GA.
  3. Maggie Carr, born October 1884, GA
  4. Ada Carr, born January 1888, GA.
  5. William Marion Carr, born May 1892 GA.
  6. David Carr, born November 1897, GA.

William Marion Carr, was born in May of 1892 and died 30 July 1952 in Fulton County, Georgia. He married Martha Jane Burton, about 1919 in Fulton County, GA. Martha Jane was born 19 October 1900, the daughter of William B. Burton and Sophia Orr. Their children are
