• He worked from 1821 to 1823 as a silversmith and watchmaker in Fayetteville NC managing the shop of Charles Clark. ¹⁵

• He worked from 1823 to 1827 as a silversmith and watchmaker in Fayetteville NC having bought out the stock and trade of his former boss, Charles Clark. On 5 December 1727, he announced he was leaving the city, having sold his stock to SELPH & CAMPBELL. ¹⁵
