- He was a partner from circa 1803 to 1805 with John Fowle in Boston MA as JOHN & NATHANIEL FOWLE, watch repairers and makers of spoons, with shop at 10 Ann Street and later at 67 Cornhill. Their family relationship, if one exists, has not been traced. 3
- Obituary printed in the Pittsfield Sun on 16 Apr 1817
Noting that Mr. Nathaniel Fowle, merchant, age 69, died at Northampton.
- Announcement in the Hampshire Gazette, 9 Mar 1819, carried notice that "All persons having, notes or accounts due to the estate of the late Nathaniel Fowle, deceased, are called upon to settle same . . . signed N. FowleAdm." 3
