• Advertised in the The Evening Post (New York City NY), 2 May 1822, announcing that "CLARK & PELLETREAU, having taken William Upson into copartnership, their business from this date will be conducted under the firm of CLARK, PELLETREAU & UPSON."

• He was a partner from 1823 to 1828 with John Bennett and D. C. Cook in New York City NY as PELLETREAU, BENNETT & COOK with shop located at 170 Broadway.
