  • Apprenticed about 1711 to René Grignon in Norwich CT 9
    Grigon's will, proved 12 April 1715, states: "I Give and bequeath unto Daniel Deshon all my Goldsmith Tools and Desire he may be my Executes be bound out to some sutable person in Boston till he arrive att the age of Twenty one Years, to Learn the Trade of a Goldsmith, and I also give him ten pounds money to be paid . . . when the sd Daniel comes of Age."
  • Apprenticed from circa 1715 to 1718 to John Gray in Norwich CT 14
    completing his term after René Gignon's death.
  • He worked after 1718 as a silversmith in New London CT 14
