- Advertised in the United States Gazette (Providence RI), 3 Jan 1793, with his brother William, "Informs the public that they carry on the business of gold- and silversmiths in its various branches a few doors south of the Baptist Meeting House, and directly opposite Capt. Richard Jackson's where they have for sale; silver spoons of different kinds and sizes, gold necklaces and a variety of plated buckles." 8
