  • Advertised in the Connecticut Journal, 1787-1825, listing a variety of articles for sale: swords, epaulets, belts, watches, razors, pen knives, pencils, some silver-mounted spectacles "suited to any sight," compasses, etc. and of particular interest, silver candlesticks, table, tea, cream, dessert and salt spoons, sugar tongs, gold beads, and earrings of their own manufacture. 3

  • Advertised in the Connecticut Journal, 1794, "for one or two ingenious, steady lads about 14 years as apprentices to silversmith trade." 3
  • He worked from 1797 to 1802 as a silversmith in New Haven CT shop located on State Street, two doors south of Mr. Nicoll's crockery store. 4
