  Events in his life were:

• Apprenticed about 1803 to Abraham Storm in Poughkeepsie NY ¹⁵

• He worked from 1816 to 1832 as a silversmith in Richmond VA listed in the 1819 city directory with a shop on the south side of E Street between 15^th and 16^th Street. He sold his business to Charles Gennet, Jr. on 28 August 1832 and returned to Poughkeepsie NY. ¹

Charles married Sarah Camp on 15 Jun 1813 in Poughkeepsie NY. (Sarah Camp was born on 27 Aug 1795 in Newark NJ and died on 22 Aug 1877 in Passaic Pompton NJ.)
