Description:
On 2003, Feb 1, I ((Living)) visited (Living) (daughter of SMITH, Hyrum June) at her home at 157 West State Street in Lehi, Utah. We had a nice conversation about her family.
(Living) said that her mother (MITCHELL, Birdie Estella) told her that she made Hyrum's middle name be "June" because "he was born in the month of June."
(Living) said, "Father was a wonderful man. I wish everyone in the world could have known father. He had eleven children and never raised his voice at anyone once."
After SMITH, Hyrum June's brother's family (SMITH, Joseph and KEMP, Jane Elizabeth) was asphyxiated while sleeping in their home, SMITH, Hyrum June had to help remove the bodies from the home and take them into Lehi to the mortuary. That was very hard on Hyrum. "He took it very hard," said (Living).
