The Fairview Cemetery is located on County Road 53 which intersects with State Highway 11C in Brasher Falls. (On the county map, it is referred to as the Brasher Falls-Helena Road). It is 4/10 of a mile from the intersection of 11C and is an active cemetery with 600 to 700 burials.
It is listed in the Geographical Name Information System (GNIS) on the USGS webpage with the coordinates of 44 48 40N and 074 46 39W, and is also on the Brasher Falls 7.5minute topographical map.
According to the book, Heroes of the American Revolution St. Lawrence County,published by the Nihanawate Chapter of the DAR in 1998, there are two men who served in the Revolutionary War buried here: Cpl. Isaac Kelsey, b 1755, d 1838 and Cpl. AsaWinters, b 1744, d 1827.
