Nicolas Latham [Parents] was born 1608 in Aldenham, Hertfordshire, England. He died See Notes in , , Bahamas. Nicolas married Elizabeth Newman on 3 Apr 1604 in Aldenham, Hertfordshire, England.
Came to America on the Mayflower in 1620 as a servant to Gov. Carver.
He was only a youth at that time and being under Carver's charge was not mentioned as a passenger by name or in the 1624 division of [?].
It believed he with another servant of Carver's may have helped John Howland count four heads by the discovery of Bradford's Historical "Right to Passage in the First Ship in Providence." In 1627 he had a share in the division of cattle being in the [?] Gov. Bradford. He was of duxbury in 1637 and Marshfield in 1643 and 1648. In Bradford's we see that after so long residing there he went home to England, thence to the Bahamas and died there of starvation. Of one Latham in our country is the idle tradition that he was brought up with Charles I, but no benefit or evil of the companionship is boasted.
DEATH: "After more than 20 years stay in the country, went to England and from thence to the Bahamy Islands . . . and there with some others was starved for want of food." Died between 7 Nov 1645 & 6 mar 1651.
