This photo was taken in the Knobs near the Monroe County-McMinn County line in the vicinity of the Lewis family farm. Alice (Lewis) Gay was pregnant with her son George Hobert Gay. Standing left to right are Rossie Lee (Gay) Casteel and Ozra Margaret (Gay) Maupin. Seated is Samuel John Leonard Gay, and standing in the middle is Millard Akins Gay. Seated is Alice America (Lewis) Gay, and standing on the far right is Otsie Lou (Gay) Jimerson and Bob Gay.
