Dear Rand recievd your letter yesterday.
Annie is dead. She died at Chattanooga where she ment to have an operation performed on her Woomb.
She had been in bad health for some time. She died June 7 they will bring her here to day. We are awful lonley.
If you come to Athens I will try and meet you. We are tolerbly well. Mr. Horrad took her to Chat--
last wensday the operation was performed thursday.
Well I recon it was best but it is hard to heare
I wish you all were here now
