VALLEY RIVER

RECOLLECTIONS

This is the beginning of my Valley River Recollections -- vignettes, anecdotes, short stories, family legends, romances, biographies, etc. Some articles below represent many years of research and a compilation of data found in numerous widespread sources. Some selections are stories of my ancestors and relatives as told me by various kinfolks. I will always be grateful for their taking time to share these stories with me. Others, written by distant cousins across this country, are stories about Valley River relatives who scattered far and wide. Rest a spell on a green grassy spot surrounded by misty blue mountains. Hear the trees whispering in a gentle, warm breeze and the soft rush of sparkling Valley River. Listen now, my friends, and you will hear a web of tales spun by our kinfolks.
