Samuel and Susannah (Overholtser) McKeehan's

Bible Record from Washington CO, TN

The McKeehan family record is found in a Bible published in 1816 in New York by Collins and Company. Entires were made by Susannah McKeehan, the first wife of Samuel McKeehan. She died of childbed fever following the birth of her seventh child. The seventh child's birth is not given in the family record. The family record makes no mention of Samuel McKeehan's second marriage to Sarah Wattenbarger and their children. The Bible was passd to Elbert McKeehan and was then passed to his daughter, the current owner, Mrs. Bertie Fike, Chattanooga, TN [address given but omitted on the internet]. The family record was copied by Mrs. Madge McCollum (February 9, 1963).

Permelia E. McKehan daughter of Samuel and Susanna McKehan was bornd March 6th 1830

Elizabeth A. McKehan daughter of Samuel and Susanna McKehan was bornd April 14th 1832
