Your kind actions may have helped the Rossiter Family regain some of their family heritage dating back to 1751 in Wedmore ,Somerset.

Accurate records of the Rossiter family history are extremely difficult to find - especially during the earlier generations.

It is for this reason that the information supplied below is often incomplete.

We strongly urge any visitors to this site to help out if you can.

Our Generation Numbering System

We have used a combination of standard numbers, with roman numerals to keep it simple. The numbers represent the Generation of the persons mentioned & the roman numerals represent the Order Of Birth in the family.

E.g. If your parents are the 4th Generation & you are the 3rd child born in the family - you would be classified as Generation 5iii - which means 5th Generation, Third Child respectively. You may get married and have 3 children. Each child would be classified as Generations 6i (6th Generation, first child), 6ii (6th Generation, second child) & 6iii (6th Generation, third child)... and so on.

William's second marriage (at age 55) was to MARY LYONS on the 17th April 1805. We are still searching for further information on William Rossiter.

At age 22 William married ANN REEVES (daughter of WILLIAM REEVES & DIANA FISHER), on 21st February 1809 in Wedmore, Somerset, England.

Mark's first marriage was to ELIZABETH WISEMAN (at age 25) on 14th May, 1883 in Register Office, Newport, Wales. Elizabeth was the daughter of JOHN WISEMAN & ELIZABETH ADLAM. Mark's second marriage was to LYDIA ELIZA JEFFERIES (at age 47) on 8th August, 1905 in Newport, Monmothshire, Wales. Lydia was the daughter of GEORGE JEFFERIES & EMMA GOUGH.
