The earliest CASEY family ancestor that
I can prove lineage to through documentation is Samuel Caisey, who lived in
Rowan County, North Carolina in the 1700’s and 1800’s. Samuel married 3 wives, and had 5 sons and
possibly a daughter while living in Rowan County. I do not know as of yet who Samuel CASEY’s
parents are, but it is possible that Samuel descended from the CASEY families
that migrated to Rowan County from Loudoun County, VA. At present, this is speculation and I have
not investigated this potential link to the CASEY families found in Loudoun
County VA in the mid 1700s.
