Most of our ancestors emigrated from the British Isles and New England States to Quebec, Canada in the early 1800's. Some surnames (origin) of particular interest are:

Bailey (Brookfield, Vt.), Belanger (Quebec), Booth (Ireland), Borden (?), Bowen (Salisbury, N.H.), Brown (Vt.), Caswell (USA), Chandler (?), Dawson (Ireland), Dudley (Orange, Vt.), Elliott (N.H.), French (Dunstable, Mass.), Fuller (Brookfield, Vt.), Henderson (Sligo, Ireland), Harvey (USA), Hill (Ireland), Kerr (Ireland), Lister (Quebec), Mitchell (USA), Parker (Carlow Co., Ireland), Pete (Ireland), Piper (USA), Rogers (Vt.), Sparling (Tipperary, Ireland), Wallace (Scotland), Whitcomb (USA).

In order to respect the privacy of living people, or potentially living people, e.g. death date not known, their pertinent dates have been suppressed and replaced with "living". In doing so I may have inadvertently omitted dates for some people who are no longer living.
