Irish Surnames in the Caribbean

The last section covers some of the most common Irish surnames found in the Caribbean. This is an interactive section of the website and comments are invited from everyone.

Surname Histories - brief histories of Irish surnames found in the Caribbean, detailing their early history in Ireland, the switch in land ownership during the 1600's, and subsequent distribution of the name in the 1800's and 1900's.

Individual Family Histories & DNA Results - every person DNA tested is invited to submit their own family history. The DNA results are then used to augment the existing knowledge, confirm or refute known associations, draw conclusions about the genetic homeland, identify possible distant cousins, and generate theories for further investigation.
