I registered in Troop 139, Black Kettle District, Last Frontier Council in 1944 with the rank of Tenderfoot.

Each of my sons, Gary and Lary, are an Eagle Scout.

I served in adult leadership capacity with the Golden Empire Council #47, Sacramento, California.
