still working on it...
This site is in the process of being put together by Graham Starkey, and so far there are three areas of potential interest to people, with lots more to come.
bullet
The genealogy of my immediate family.

Surnames represented here include:

STARKEY / STORKEY / STORKE
YAKSICH / JAKSIC (my wife's ancestry)
    MARTINOVICH
KABLE (my mother's ancestry, see further information below)
    STRONG
      HAMILTON
  KERRY (my paternal grandmother's ancestry)

Here are an index sorted by surname, forename, or date, as well as an indented descendant report, starting from John Storke of Suffolk born in the late 17th century, and a condensed pedigree of my son.

Another site containing Starkey genealogy information, is the Genealogy Webcenter maintained by the STARKEY-L RootsWeb mailing list administrator, David Strain.

bullet
The descendants and ancestors of Henry Kable (born Keable, sometimes also spelt Cabell) of First Fleet fame.

This material is hosted on behalf of the KABLE-L RootsWeb mailing list.

Here are an index sorted by surname, forename, or date, as well as an indented descendant report, starting from James Keable of Suffolk (Henry Kable's great-grandfather) born in the late 17th century.

Other sites containing Kable genealogy information, are the Nullus Anxietas site maintained by Gary Morris, and the First Families 2001 site, which is an initiative of the State Library of Victoria.

bullet
A database of a number of English, Irish and Scottish aristocracy and royalty, subsetted from Brian Tompsett's Directory of Royal Genealogical Data. This is of interest inasmuch as Catherine Jane Hamilton (see her entry in the family database above) was directly descended from two separate lines of Hamiltons covered in this Royal database. There a still a number of gaps in this database which I am (again) filling in as time permits. This database will be merged into the family database when the links between them are entered.

Here are an index sorted by surname, forename, or date.

This information is still being compiled, and will be updated irregularly, as well as augmented by other material as time permits.

The software which produced this material is an open source program called BlueGene, and the source and binary of this will be made available shortly. This software is being developed and will be available under the terms of the GNU General Public Licence

Acknowledgements

For the family database I must recognise Peter Dickinson-Starkey, who began the work of researching our lineage, and Warren Starkey who did all of the early work getting the material into electronic form.

For the Kable database, I must recognise Paul Kable for having done so much research while posted in England, and Hilda Maclean for the huge effort of data entry of Paul's research, and a great deal more.

For the royalty and aristocracy database, I am grateful to Brian Tompsett who kindly extracted from his own GEDCOM master database the material which you can see here.

Thanks, guys!
