DESCENDANTS OF REV. NATHANIEL RAWSON, WHO WAS IN THE SIXTH GENERATION

Of the American Rawsons, from Edward Rawson who imigrated in 1636.
REV. NATHANIEL RAWSON, married 1st BETCY FITCH; 2d SARAH PIPER.


CHILDREN -- SEVENTH GENERATION.


ELIJAH RAWSON, maried HARRIET J. HART in Middlebury, Vt., born May 16, 1819; married Sept. 14, 1836 in Middlebury, Vt.  Lived at first in Middlebury, afterwards in Plattsburgh, N.Y., Irasburgh, Vt., where he started a newspaper which he published about five years; afterward he resided in Keeseville and Champlain, N.Y. and Burlington, Vt., acting as foreman in the Book and Job Office of Chauncy Goodrich, and as local editor on the Sentinel.  After living about thirty years in Burlington, his wife died thar in 1881; in 1882 he went to Milwaukee, Wis. and has sinc lived in the family of his dauter, Mrs. J. S. Crandall, now aged 82 years.

DENNIS C. RAWSON, maried, 1st ELIZA COPELAND, of Hampton, Ct. in 1845; 2d. CHLOE MILLER of Westfield, Vt.; 3d. BETSY BEERS of Hampton, Ct.  He now resides in Hampton.

ELIZABETH F. RAWSON maried HENRY E. RICE, of Barre, Mass., March 28, 1848.  He died in Rome, N.Y., April 6, 1889.  He was a prominent man in Town and Country affairs in the later part of his life.

MARY J. RAWSON, was maried to EPHRAIM A. MOORE, at Weston, Vt., June 23, 1854.  They now reside in Weston, and he is a deacon of the Congregational Church and a farmer.

CORNELIA RAWSON was maried to JOHN S. CRANDALL, of Milwaukee, Wis., at Burlington, Vt., Jan. 25, 1858.  Tha now live in Milwaukee.  He is a grain inspector.
CHILDREN -- NINTH GENERATION.


JULIUS RAWSON maried MARY E. SHELDON, of Keesvile, N.Y., Jan. 30, 1867.  He learned the watch and jewelry business at Keesville; he enlisted in the 9th regiment of Vermont Volunteers, in 1862, and was nearly thre years in the U.S. service.  They resided several years at Ausable Forks, N.Y.; now liv at Canton, N.Y.

ROYAL C. RAWSON maried EMMA MARTIN Jan. 1st, 1878.  He is a farmer and tha liv in Killingly, Conn.

MARY E. RAWSON was maried to IRVING W. HAMMOND July 2, 1888, at Hampton, Ct.  He a farmer and owns the farm formerly owned by his father-in-law, and she is the postmistress of Rawson p.o.

JOSEPH H. RAWSON maried LINNIE L. CHURCH at Providence, R.I. May 1st, 1886.  He is a carpenter.  They liv in Willmantic, Ct.

OLIVE RICE was maried to HENRY H. BRIGHAM, at Barre, Mass., Oct. 23, 1868.  He was a farmer; he died in March 24, 1891.  She now livs in Barre.

FANNIE RICE maried to SEYMOUR A. WHEELOCK at Barre, Mass, March 26, 1872.  Tha now liv in Wilmette, Ill., he doing business in Chicago, in a firm of general fruit and produce merchants.

FRANK H. RICE, maried LOU DAVIS, Feb. 23, 1880.  Tha first resided in Hawthorn, Nev., whar he was the county clerk; tha now liv in Oakland, Cal.

DANIEL H. RICE maried 1st, HELEN R. WHITE, at Barre, Mass., Feb. 12, 1884; she died July 18, 1889; 2d. JENNIE ADAMS in Barre, Sept. 23, 1891.  He and his first wife lived in Chicago, where he engaged in milk business.  He now lives in Barre and deals in fancy poultry.

ARTHUR L. RICE maried ANNIE E. COOK at Barre, Mass., June 29, 1893. Tha live in Worcester, Mass.  He is a teacher in the Polytechnic Institute, in that city.
 

OBED E. MOORE married ANNA F. ORKINS, at Weston, Vt.,  May 19, 1877.  He is farmer.  Tha now live in Weston.

ALICE S. MOORE was maried 1st to ALENZA A. ORKINS, at Weston, Vt. May 19, 1877; he died July 15, 1880, 2d, to CHAS. E. BEARD, March 11, 1885; tha were both farmers.  Mr. and Mrs. Beard now live in Brookfield, Vt.

ANNA M. MOORE was maried to GEORGE C. SMITH, Dec. 15, 1886.  He is a farmer; and tha now liv in Brookfield, Vt.

J. JULIUS CRANDALL maried EMMA GREEN, June 22, 1892, in Milwaukee, Wis.  He is a grain salesman for a commission house in Milwaukee.  Tha live in Milwaukee.

MYRA M. CRANDALL was maried to CHARLES S. ALLANSON, Nov. 2, 1887, in Milwaukee, Wis.  He is asist. gen. news agent for the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul railroad at Minneapolis. Minn, where tha at present reside.

CHILDREN -- TENTH GENERATION.


BERTHA CRANDALL was maried to DAVID MANSON, of Burlington, Vt., at Milwaukee, Wis. Sept. 14, 1892.  She died in Burlington, June 20, 1894.  He is a member of a firm dealing in men's furnishing goods, and livs in Burlington.

WALTER S. CRANDALL maried  ROSE McCULLY, in Milwaukee, Wis., Nov. 27, 1893.  He is an Expres Agent at Winneconne, Wis.
