Our
third annual Duke-Stainback Family Reunion will be held
on Saturday, June 7, 2003,
at the New
Bethel Baptist Church in Epsom, North Carolina.
It
will be a covered-dish event, meaning everyone should
bring a dish for the lunch buffet.
New
Bethel Church has special meaning for our family.
Many of our direct and extended family members are
buried in the church cemetery. The nearby area also has several
other cemeteries where members of the extended
family are buried. An
interesting side excursion for those of you with the
time is Duke University, about an hour's drive away,
where cousin Washington
Duke and several other members of his family are
buried.
Schedule of Events

10:30: Donuts and Coffee
12:00: Covered Dish Lunch
Plates, forks & spoons, ice, cups will be
furnished.
Please bring food for your family.
1:30: Program
The program will be on
Stainback cousin
Terry Broadwick, the first woman
to parachute from an airplane.
Other
speakers to be announced later.

& Driving Directions to Epsom
Epsom is a spot in the road between
Louisburg and Henderson. It is north of Raleigh.
Take Rt. 85 and turn on Hwy. 39 at Henderson and go South.
Epsom is about seven miles from Henderson.
