DOROTHY STANLEY VANSANT, 91, died Jan. 3, in the Carol Woods Health Center.
Born December, 8, 1910 in Chicago, she married Kenneth Franklin VanSant, October 27, 1934, who preceded her in death. Since
her marriage she has lived in Lincoln, NE., Evanston, River Forrest and Clarendon Hills, IL. and Chapel Hill, NC.
She had been a resident of Carol Woods Retirement Center since 1982. Mrs. VanSant was a member of the Binkley Baptist Church where a memorial service will be conducted January 19, at 2p.m.
She is survived by a son, Jerry VanSant of Chapel Hill and his wife Sondra. Also by two grandchildren, Laura VanSant of
Chapel Hill and Kevin VanSant of Carrboro.
Burial of the Cremains will be January 9th in Bronswood Cemetery in Oak Brook, IL.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may sent to the Binkley Baptist Church Endowment Fund. Arrangements are with Walkers Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, NC.
