THE WORLDWIDE STAPLES' SURNAME & DNA PROJECT (SSDP) WAS FOUNDED IN SEPTEMBER 2002 AS A TEN YEAR GENETIC GENEALOGY PROJECT WITH THE PRIMARY GOAL OF INCREASING KNOWLEDGE OF OUR  VARIED FAMILY HISTORY BY MATCHING GENETIC RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN PARTICIPANTS AND IDENTIFYING OUR GENETIC ROOTS WITHIN FAMILY GROUPS, GENETIC FAMILY TREES AND OUR UNIQUE INDIVIDUAL GENETIC FAMILY BRANCHES.

Shortly after 15 September 2012, the SSDP webmaster was informed by "Rootsweb" that the SSDP site could not be left at its original URL location as "Rootsweb" rules now limit websites to one per individual.
