Inventory of Pleasant Valley Cemetery - Hammond, NY

In early July of 2004 I visited Pleasant Valley Cemetery in the town of Hammond. This cemetery is located on Pleasant Valley Road. I photographed and recorded the tombstones within the cemetery. Below is the inventory I developed during that visit. Since the cemetery is farily large, I made up section numbers to try to identify roughly where the stones are located. Sections 1-4 are on the Right when facing the cemetery from the road, with Section 1 being at the back, near the large crypt and Section 4 being by the road. Sections 5-8 are on the left when facing the cemtery from the road, with Section 5 being at the road and Section 8 being at the back.

When a picture is available, the name of the person will be 'clickable' to bring up the picture. NOTE: The only names recorded here are for people who had markers that I could find in the cemetery. It does not include any other people who might have been buried but for whom no marker could be found. All comments can be directed to Anne M. Cady
