Daughter of Joshua Adee
and Elizabeth (Peters), Elizabeth was born in
Weaver Hollow, Delaware Co., New York on 09 April
1835. She was the wife of James Hopkins who was
the breeder and importer of fine horses in Rock
Co., Wisconsin.
Elizabeth
and James were the parents of three children:
John R., Mrs. Amanda E. Stevens, and Sampson
Hopkins.
