Doings in East Poland:

A.E. Mosher made a trip to Naples Saturday to arrange and close the sale of the large number of birch hoops he is making this spring.

Mrs. A.C. Sawtelle returned from Strong last week where she has been spending the winter with her sister.

Walter Dunn, who has lately completed a course at Gray's business college, after quite an extended vacation at home, returned to Portland Friday where we understand he is soon to a take situation.

Frank Stone injured one of his hands quite bad last week while loading logs in the woods. He was obliged to lose one day but has since been able to work his team assisted by his son frank.

 

Doings in Empire:

Twelve degrees below zero Monday morning. Miss Mable Sawyer is unwell.

Roy Dunn has recovered from his illness.

Mrs. Elvia Gowell who has been quite ill is much better.

Ralph Cobb has completed his course at Bliss Business College this winter.

Alice and Fannie Burnham and Irving Davis are attending Edward Little High School at Auburn.
