Warren Strout and family have been spending a few days with his father L.N Strout. Miss H E Buckenell of Hiram is visiting at J L Kimball's for a short time. W J Cook spent Sunday in South Windham. Mrs. V.P. Waterhouse is visiting her brother at Willard. Ernest L Strout is ill with the rheumatic fever. E D. Waterhouse has recovered from the injuries received in the woods several weeks ago.

The Poland Colony of Pilgrim fathers held their regular meeting Tuesday night. As discontent is his worst evil- is not idle and you shall not be longing. Discretion of speech is more than eloquence. A motion picture Exhibition illustrating the highest attainment in the art of photography, showing pictures of the late wars and affording entertainment for one hour and sixty five minutes will be given in the town hall Friday night. The next meeting of the ladies universalistic circle will be with Mrs. C E Chipman, Thursday march 22. The master of the state grange met with excelsior no 5 on Saturday afternoon and evening. He addressed the patrons on subjects of interest and instructed them in the secret of work. After the supper served in the dining hall an entertainment was given including a few declamations and several musical selections.
