Luck and Mother (Granny Luck).
Lydia died of TB in 1907 aged 32. She never married. Her mother , Granny
Luck was Mary Ann Luck (nee GILL) born 1834 in Beckley Sussex. She was
the daughter of George and Mary GILL (nee GOODSELL) and wife of William
LUCK.

photograph relates either to the WEBBER or
PAGE family.
The WEBBER family originated from the Reading area of Berkshire and came
to the
Hastings area at the end of the 19th century. They were publicans
(Fountain at
St Leonards, Bo-Peep at St Leonards, Palmerston Inn, Hastings and
Wheatsheaf,
Hastings).
The PAGE family come from the Mayfield area of Sussex and my
grandfather,
William John PAGE lived in Hastings from about 1925.

Thomas DANIEL was baptised in All Saints' Hastings on 20 Jul 1777, s/o another Thomas and descendant of a long line of Hastings fishermen.
In 1805, Thomas became the Licensee of the Anchor Inn in George
Street, Hastings (still a going concern) and held this position
until his retirement in 1840. Thomas and Maria then moved to Bexhill
for their later years.
Can anyone date this photo?Thomas
died in Bexhill on 26 May 1850, aged 72.

wife Anna Maria (called Maria) formerly BROWN
was born in Norfolk. They were married in Brighton in 1802; Thomas was
probably a fisherman at the time. Maria
died in Bexhill on 26 Jan 1862, aged 84. Can anyone date this photo?

John Charles Homans who went
by second name (Charlie). It seems he changed his surname to Homans when he
came to Clam Harbour, Nova Scotia. He never spoke of family in England. John
was born c.1818-20 and died in 1899.
