Generation One

1.  Charles Everett¹ ROSEBERRY (33) (Charles, #2); born May 8, 1922 in Radford, VA; married Betty Jean Keister (25), daughter of Harry Price Keister (24) and Margaret Virginia Howell (18), January 7, 1948 in Radford Christian Church in Radford, VA. Charles died December 8, 1958 in Lynchburg, VA, at age 36.  He was buried December 10, 1958 in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin, Pulaski Co., VA.

     Charles Roseberry began military service Oct. 24, 1942.  A WWII Veteran, he served in Africa, Italy, France, Germany and Austria. On September 20, 1952 he lived at 823 W. 8th Street in Radford, VA. Between 1954 and 1958 he was the Business Manager and Treasurer of Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, VA.

 

 

Generation Two

 

2.  Charles Wesley² ROSEBERRY (526) (John, #4); born April 30, 1893 in Newbern, Pulaski Co., VA; married Elizabeth Clarey Sutton (527) (see #3), daughter of William Kirby Sutton (624) and Sarah Jane King (625), about 1915.  He died February 16, 1984 in Radford, VA, at age 90.

     Charles Wesley was a farmer and later a Pattern-Maker (at the Lynchburg Foundry in Radford, VA) between 1913 and 1958. On November 27, 1973 he lived at 1104 5th Street, Radford, VA.

     Children of Charles Wesley² Roseberry (526) and Elizabeth Clarey Sutton (527) (see #3) were as follows:

                      i.    Margaret A.¹ (529); born 1916 in Radford, VA; married Walter Lawton (539) 1937.

                      ii.    William Chester (528); born October 26, 1918 in VA; married Margaret Allyne Agee (532) circa 1940; died April 24, 1972 in Radford, VA, at age 53 and was buried in the Highland Memory Gardens, Pulaski Co., VA.

                     iii.    Mary Ellen (530); born circa 1920 in Radford, VA; married Carl E. Richardson (536) August 25, 1948 in the Carter Street Methodist Church in Radford, VA.

 On November 27, 1973 she lived in Raleigh, NC.

           1.       iv.    Charles Everett (33).

                     v.    James Carl (531); born circa 1934 in Radford, VA; married Judy Lee Corder (542), daughter of Walter Denton Corder (872), circa 1954 at the Calvary Baptist Church.

     He lived on November 27, 1973 in Durham, NC.

3.  Elizabeth Clarey² SUTTON (527) (William, #6); born October 31, 1892 in Pulaski Co., VA; married Charles Wesley Roseberry (526) (see #2), son of John Chester Roseberry (544) and Cornelia Idella King (545), circa 1915; died November 26, 1973 in Radford, VA, at age 81 and was buried November 28, 1973 in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin, Pulaski Co., VA.
