Will of Christian Keister.

This being my last will and testament and being of sound mind I dispose of my property after death after my burial expense is paid and such expense as may be attached thereto.  I dispose of my property as follows.

1st.  I want my House & Lot in Blacksburg, Va. sold and other remaining proceeds after paying my own expenses for burial &c to go to my daughters Alice and Lizzie now in the Hospital  at Marrian, Va.  In case either of the two daughters mentioned above should die her  burrial expenses is to be paid out of said fund deriving from sale of the said House and lot designated, then the remainder is to go to the one still living  of the two above mentioned.

2.   I furthermore desire that each of my children shall have one ($1.00) Dollar out of the proceeds of the sale of my property.

3rd.  After the death of Alice & Lizzie should there be any money left out of the sale of said property, it shall be equally divided among my children.

4th.  I want C. L. Price to act as my Executor after my death and to sell my property and dispose of the proceeds as I have directed but if he thinks it best to rent the property for awhile and let the proceeds go to the two girls mentioned he may do so.  It is further my desire that my expense that the said C. L. Price has to  incur looking after Alice & Lizzie shall also be paid out of sale of my property.

Virginia.  In the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Montgomery County November 18, 1912.  Will of Christian Keister Dec'd.

A paper dated the 19th day of August 1910 purporting to be the last will and testament of Christian Keister deceased was produced in office by C. L. Price the Executor therein named and proven by the oaths of said C. L. Price and Byrd Anderson the two subscribing witnesses thereto, who being duly sworn testified that they were present with the testator and in the presence of each other at the time of the Execution Acknowledgement and attestation of said will.  And that they signed their names as witnesses at his request and further that to the best of their Knowlege and belief that said Keister was of sound mind at the time wherupon said will is admitted to probate and ordered to be recorded.  And C. L. Price the Executor named in said will made oath as the law directs and entered into Bond in the penalty of $1200.00 conditioned & payable according to law with Byrd Anderson his Security therein who justified as to his sufficiency and said bond being acknowleged by the obligors is ordered to be recorded and a Certificate is granted the said C. L. Price for obtaining probate of said will in due form.
