Generation Seven

 

 

24.  ? FLENDER (4997); born circa 1585 in of Weidenau, Nassau-Siegen, Germany;[1] married Wilhelm Holtzklau (4996), son of Franz Holtzklau (5072), circa 1604 in Germany.[2]

 

     Wilhelm HOLTZKLAU (4996) was born between 1573 and 1574 in Weidenau, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.  He died circa 1630 "when the plague was raging in Nassau-Siegen" in Siegen, Germany.[3]

     Children of ? Flender (4997) and Wilhelm Holtzklau (4996) were:

+       27.        i.    Johannes (4980), born 1609/10 (of Weidenau, Nassau-Siegen, Germany); married Hebel Flender (4981).

 

 

25. Matthias “Theiss” PATT (5099); born circa 1585 in the Buschgotthardshuetten iron-works settlement in Weidenau, Nassau-Siegen, Germany; married Agnes Jung (5100), daughter of Jost Jung (5124) and ? Vor Der Meinhardt (5125), circa 1610; died between 1664 and 1669 in the Muesenershuetten iron-works settlement in Weidenau, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[4]

     He was admitted to the Guild of Smelterers and Hammersmiths in 1604 in the Fickenhuetten iron-works in Weidenau, Nassau-Siegen, Germany. He began military service between 1624 and 1629 in the Muesenershuetten iron-works settlement in Weidenau, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.  He was listed as a militia member in 1624, 1626, 1628, and 1629.[5]

 

     Agnes JUNG (5100) was born circa 1585.[6]

     Children of Theiss Patt (5099) and Agnes Jung (5100) were as follows:

         28.        i.    Johannes or Hans (5101); born circa 1615 in the Fickenhuetten iron-works settlement in Weidenau, Nassau-Siegen, Germany; married Elisabeth ? (5102) circa 1635; died 1655 in the Muenkerschutten iron-works settlement in Weidenau, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[7]

     He lived in 1653/54 in the Muenkerschutten iron-works settlement in Weidenau, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[8]

+       29.        ii.    Elisabeth (5070), born 1618/19 in Germany; married Johann Solbach (5069).

+       30.      iii.    Arnold (5103), born circa 1620; married Elsbeth ? (5104).

         31.       iv.    Margreth (5105); born circa 1623 and christened Feb 16, 1623 at Siegen.[9]

         32.       v.    Margreth (5363); born 1624 and christened Sep 12, 1624 in Siegen.[10]

+       33.       vi.    Johannes (5106), born circa 1626; married Margreth ? (5107).

         34.     vii.    Sophia (5108); born circa 1631 and christened Oct 19, 1631 in Siegen.[11]
