39.  Levinia Ellen “Baby” SHELL (343); born 1840 in Montgomery Co., VA;[1] married Harman S. Keister (329), son of Peter Keister Jr. (324) and Catherine Shell (325), January 13, 1864 in Montgomery Co., VA;[2] died before 1900.[3]

     On Jan. 13, 1864, Harman Keister, son of Peter and Catherine Keister, married Levinia E. Shell, daughter of Jno. N. and Hannah Shell.  Harman, a farmer, was 29, single and was born in and residing in Montgomery County.  Levinia was 24, single and was also born in and residing in Montgomery County.  (From Montgomery County, VA Wedding Records).

     Harman S. KEISTER (329)[4] was born in May, 1834 in Montgomery Co., VA.[5] He was the overseer of Margaret Taylor’s farm which was valued at $311,000 in 1860.[6] He lived in 1880 in the Blacksburg District of Montgomery Co., VA.[7]  For more on this family see the Keister chapter.
