26.  Jacob H.5 FOSTER (Madison4, James3, Isaac2, William1) was born in 1832 in Monroe Co., VA[1],[2] and married Martha A. Criner on December 10, 1857 in Monroe Co., VA.[3]

     He was a farmer in 1857 in Monroe Co., VA[4] and a farmer with $38 personal property in 1860 in Monroe Co., VA.[5]

     Martha A. CRINER; daughter of Samuel and Frances Criner was born in 1833 in Giles Co., VA.[6]

     Children of Jacob H.5 Foster and Martha A. Criner were as follows:

        35.        i.    Lewis H.6 Foster; born 1859 in Monroe Co., VA.[7]

        36.       ii.    William A. Foster; born 1860 in Monroe Co., VA.[8]

 

 

 

33.  John5 FOSTER (Madison4, James3, Isaac2, William1) was born February 20, 1844 in VA[9],[10] and married Ann R. Ferguson, daughter of John Ferguson and Ann Dowdy, August 2, 1866 in Monroe Co., WV.[11]  John died January 13, 1919 at age 74 and is buried in the Central Cemetery in Radford, VA.[12]

     He was a farm laborer, living with his father in 1860 in the Red Sulphur District, Peterstown, VA.[13]  John was a carpenter in 1870 in the Red Sulphur District, Peterstown, WV.[14] He lived in 1880 in the Red Sulphur District, Peterstown, WV[15] and was a carpenter in 1900 in Radford, VA.[16]

     Ann Roe FERGUSON was born on March 14, 1843 in Franklin Co., VA.[17],[18] She died on October 12, 1904 at age 61 and is buried in the Central Cemetery in Radford, VA.[19]

     Children of John5 Foster and Ann R. Ferguson were as follows:

        37.        i.    Arthur P.6 Foster; born 1867 in WV.[20]

        38.       ii.    Andrew H. Foster; born February 19, 1869 in Monroe Co., WV.[21]

        39.     iii.    Walter Foster; born 1871 in WV.[22]

        40.      iv.    Charlie Foster; born December 25, 1873 in Peterstown, Monroe Co., WV.[23],[24]

     He was a day laborer, living with his father, John in 1900 in Radford, VA.[25]

+      41.       v.    Ida May Foster, born August 13, 1877 in Peterstown, Monroe Co., WV; married Walter Henderson Keister.

        42.      vi.    Robert F. Foster; born March, 1882 in VA.[26]

     He was a carpenter, living with his father, John in 1900 in Radford, VA.[27]

        43.    vii.    John G. Foster; born October 17, 1884 in VA;[28],[29] died May 27, 1952 at age 67 and is buried in Central Cemetery in Radford, VA.[30]
