17.  Johannes OTTERBACH (5006); born 1659 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened the 23rd Sunday after Trinity in Siegen; married Margaretha Dornsieffer (5268) September 2, 1679.[1]

 

     Margaretha DORNSIEFFER (5268) was born in 1655 in of Langenholdinghausen, Germany. She died on July 28, 1709 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[2]

     Children of Johannes Otterbach (5006) and Margaretha Dornsieffer (5268) were as follows:

+       22.        i.    Johannes (5269), born 1680; married Gertrud Schneider (5270).

         23.        ii.    Klara (5278); born 1682 and christened the 1st Sunday of Advent.[3]

+       24.      iii.    Hermann (5279), born 1686; married Anna Kathrina Heite (5280).

+       25.       iv.    Johann Jacob (5283), born 1688; married Else Cathrin Heite (5284).

         26.       v.    Maria Klara (5286); born May 15, 1692; married Johannes Noeh (5287) 1718.[4]

         27.       vi.    Johannes (5288); born August 13, 1695.[5]

         28.     vii.    Johann Henrich (5289); born September 21, 1698.[6]

     He immigrated on September 23, 1734 to Philadelphia, landing in PA with his sister Maria Clara Noeh and her family and his nephew Johann Henrich Otterbach.[7]

 

 

20.  Johann Herman OTTERBACH (4969);[8] born circa 1664 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany; married Elizabeth Heimbach (4970), daughter of Philipp Heimbach (5033) and Maria Catharina Fischbach (4998), August 11, 1685 in Siegen, Nassau-Siegen, Germany;[9] died after 1748 in Old Germantown, Prince William Co., VA.[10]

     He was a "Fuhrmann" (carrier or carter) who transported goods and traded in them. He immigrated in April, 1714 from Nassau-Siegen, Germany to VA.[11]

 

     Elizabeth “Elspeth” HEIMBACH (4970) was born in 1662 in Seelbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened the 25th Sunday after Trinity.[12] She died between 1705 and 1713 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[13]

     Children of Johann Herman Otterbach (4969) and Elizabeth Heimbach (4970) were as follows:

+       29.        i.    Anna Margarethe (4949), born 1686 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany; married Hans Jacob Holtzklau (4948).

         30.        ii.    Ellsbeth (4973); born 1689 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened the 2nd Sunday after Pentecost;[14] died 1772 in Germantown, Fauquier Co., VA.[15]

         31.      iii.    Johann Philipp (4978); born March 22, 1692 in Siegen, Nassau-Siegen, Germany;[16] died 1718 in VA.[17]

     He was christened on March 27, 1692 in St. Nicholas Reform Church, Siegen, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[18]

          32.      iv.                Johannes (4974); born May 6, 1693 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened on 

                              Jubilate Sunday; died young.[19],[20]

         33.       v.    Johann Jacob (4972); born November 23, 1695 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened the 1st Sunday after Advent; died January 30, 1696 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[21],[22]

     He was christened on December 8, 1695 in St. Nicholas Reform Church, Siegen, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[23]

+       34.       vi.    Elisabeth Cathrina (5035), born April 19, 1697 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany; married John Kemper (5034).

         35.     vii.    Marie Cathrina (4971); born November 5, 1699 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened in St. Nicholas Reform Church, Siegen, Prussia;[24],[25] married John Joseph Martin (5290) circa 1715; died circa 1724 in VA.[26]

         36.     viii.    Johannes (4976); born April 15, 1702 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened in the St. Nicholas Reform Church in Siegen, Germany; died in Germantown, VA.[27],[28]

         37.       ix.    Anna Catharine (4977);[29] born January 2, 1705 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened in the St. Nicholas Reform Church in Siegen, Germany; married Hermann Fischbach (5243), son of Philipp Fischbach (5227) and Elsbeth Heimbach (5236), circa 1725.[30]
