19.  Blanch DUNCAN Jr. (2286); born 1808 in Floyd Co., VA;[1] married Mary Morricle (2287) March 28, 1829 in Montgomery Co., VA;[2] married Catherine ? (2295) circa 1833;[3],[4] died April 11, 1878 in Floyd Co., VA.  The cause of death was pneumonia and fever.[5]

     He was a farmer with $700 in real estate in 1850 in Floyd Co., VA.[6] He was a farmer with $1200 in real estate and $989 in personal property in 1860 in Floyd Co., VA.[7]

 

     Mary MORRICLE (2287)[8] was born circa 1810.

     There were no children of Blanch Duncan Jr. (2286) and Mary Morricle (2287).

 

     Catherine ? (2295)[9],[10] was born in 1813 in Floyd Co., VA.[11]

     Children of Blanch Duncan Jr. (2286) and Catherine ? (2295) all born in Floyd Co., VA, were as follows:

         55.        i.    James C. (5456); born 1834.[12]

     He was a farmer with $166 in real estate in 1860 in Floyd Co., VA.[13]

         56.        ii.    Mary S. (5457); born 1836.[14]

         57.      iii.    Martha J. (5458); born 1838.[15]

+       58.       iv.    Solomon (5459), born 1839; married Sarah ? (5516).

         59.       v.    Susannah “Susan” (5460); born 1840;[16] died June 22, 1887 in Floyd Co., VA; cause of death was consumption.  Age given as 46.[17]

         60.       vi.    Jacob (5461); born 1841.[18]

+       61.     vii.    Blanch (5462), born 1843; married T. ? (5518).

         62.     viii.    Reed (5463); born 1844.[19]

         63.       ix.    Greenbury (5465); born 1848.[20]

         64.       x.    Andrew James (5464); born February 6, 1849;[21] married Emma Mitchell (5554) circa 1900;[22] died October 28, 1934, at age 85, and buried in the Andy Duncan Cemetery in the Alum Ridge area of Floyd Co., VA.[23]

         65.       xi.    Robert (5466); born 1850.[24]

         66.     xii.    Artemas (5479); born 1852.[25]

         67.     xiii.    Catherine (5480); born 1854.[26]

         68.    xiv.    Rachel (5481); born 1855.[27]

         69.      xv.    Ruth (5482); born 1860.[28]

         70.    xvi.    ? (5483); born 1860.[29]

 

 

21.  Spencer DUNCAN (4922); born 1818 in Montgomery Co., VA;[30] married Annie Akers (5440) circa 1837.[31]

 

     Annie AKERS (5440) was born in 1820.[32] She died on December 15, 1892 in Floyd Co., VA.  The cause of death was old age and her age was given as 80.[33]

     Children of Spencer Duncan (4922) and Annie Akers (5440) were as follows:

         71.        i.    James (5475); born 1838.[34]

         72.        ii.    Ellendor (5476);born 1839.[35]

         73.      iii.    Sampson (5477); born 1841.[36]

+       74.       iv.    Major (5478), born 1843.

         75.       v.    Nancy Ann (5441); born 1847;[37] died July 4, 1927 in Basham, Floyd Co., VA.[38],[39]
