Generation Four

 

17.  Philipp FISCHBACH (5227); born 1661 in Seelbach, Germany and christened Judica Sunday;[1] married Elsbeth Heimbach (5236) May 20, 1683 in Germany;[2] died after April, 1714 in VA, "Probably shortly after the 1714 colony came here (VA)."[3]

     He immigrated in April, 1714 from Trupbach, Germany to Virginia.[4]

 

     Elsbeth HEIMBACH (5236) was born circa 1662 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[5]

     Children of Philipp Fischbach (5227) and Elsbeth Heimbach (5236) all born in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany, were as follows:

         31.        i.    Clara (5237); born 1684 Christened the 1st Sunday after Epiphany;[6] "probably died young.".[7]

         32.        ii.    Anna Elizabeth (5238); born 1685 and christened Palm Sunday;[8] married Hans Jacob Rector (5239) 1711.  Holtzclaw says this is "probably" the Elisabeth Fischbach who married Rector.[9]

         33.      iii.    Maria Elisabeth (5240); born 1687 and christened Quasimodogeniti Sunday.[10]

     She immigrated in April, 1714 from Nassau-Siegen, Germany to Germanna, VA, part of the original colony there.  She was one of the two Maria Elisabeth Fischbachs who married John Spilman and Melchior Brumback.  This one "probably" married Melchior Brumback.[11]

         34.       iv.    Agnes (5241); born 1689 and christened the 9th Sunday after Trinity;[12] "probably died young."[13]

         35.       v.    Johannes (5242); born July 12, 1691.[14]

     He immigrated in April, 1714, one of the original 42 Nassau-Siegen immigrants to the Germanna, VA colony.[15]

         36.       vi.    Hermann (5243); born May 21, 1693 and christened Laetare Sunday;[16] married Anna Catharine Otterbach (4977), daughter of Johann Herman Otterbach (4969) and Elizabeth Heimbach (4970), circa 1725.[17]

     He immigrated in April, 1714, one of the original 42 Nassau-Siegen immigrants to the Germanna, VA colony.[18]

         37.     vii.    Maria Elisabeth (5244); born August 7, 1696.[19]

     She immigrated in April, 1714 from Nassau-Siegen, Germany to Germanna, VA as part of the original colony there.  She was one of the two sister Maria Elisabeth Fischbachs who married John Spilman and Melchior Brumback.  This one "probably" married John Spilman.[20]
